About her
I am fairly easy going with a couple of crazy friends that, pre-COVID, threatened to set me up with someone if I didn't start going out more!
I had to admit that my lifestyle and circle of friends isn’t helping me meet new people so maybe they have a point!
I have a great job, my own place and an unruly dog. I am relaxed, enjoying life and would like to meet like-minded happy people for visits to art galleries, museums, live music, maybe the cinema - I’m sure that you get the idea.
I don’t feel the need to rush into anything as I would like to enjoy getting to know you and letting “it” progress naturally.
I am sure that you agree that “at our age” (LOL!!!) one knows fairly quickly upon meeting someone if there is a spark although a tiny part of my romantic self is still craving that coup de foudre.
I generally work outside, and have a casual style thus I am happier in casual jeans, wellies & a fleece and wear minimal make up; obvious I can dress appropriately when not casual (apparently this is the “thing” to say but I thought it would be a given) I am fairly irreverent and try not to take most things too seriously, myself included.
I listen to audible so that I can multitask (usually walking my dog) at the same time, I like Radio 4 and 4Extra but don’t seem to watch much television. I do like films though from old black and white to modern action and comedy films.
I don’t have any children but don’t mind if you do, however I do see my now elderly (they hate that word!) parents regularly.
I am doing up my house that I bought a few years ago and I currently seem to spend my spare time with my dog or gardening.
Edit: My dog passed away recently and I am now discovering what to do with the extra 20+ hours a week that I used to spend exercising her. Still need to go out more so I joined the National Trust and English Heritage. Went camping in Cornwall for the 1st time in 20 years this summer & came home, bought a better tent! So I see 2023 involving old houses, standing stones + camping!
