About her
How to describe myself? Multifaceted - as we all are, I think - usually upbeat, optimistic, gregarious, sometimes verging on Tigger like. But I can equally be empathetic, quiet and considerate. I’ve long suspected that working in education accounts for as much of this as nature and nurture.
To fend off becoming the size of a house, thanks to my love of cooking for people and eating out, I go to the gym, do Pilates, walk and swim. Socially, I prefer small groups and one to one rather than parties and clubbing, yet two of my current passions are both group activities - singing in a community choir and modern jive dancing.

Who am I looking for? Someone with a glass half full, doesn’t take themselves too seriously outlook on life. Someone comfortable in their own skin. Top of most women’s wish list - and I am no exception - is someone who can make them laugh - but I would have to specify kind humour - not the barbed, at someone else’s expense variety.
Someone who values family and friends and who would be prepared to take mine on too - and as one of six children that’s quite a big deal. Outgoing and sociable but equally happy to chill at home. Someone who enjoys cooking with and for their partner but equally keeps fit and takes care of themselves. Animal lover.
