About her
I am retired from a demanding career in Aerospace during which I travelled to England regularly and fell in love with it. I am currently looking to giggle, hold hands and share things simply and lovingly. I live to laugh, am playful and friendly, but reserved. I am dedicated and loyal to my family and anyone who calls me a friend. I am a tireless listener...tell me about your adventures. In good weather I am outdoors....walking/wandering, observing the birds and bees. A fabulous holiday for me is a naturally beautiful place with bohemian family restaurants, interesting history, artisan shops and in good company. It could be countryside or seaside. Big cities are fun on occasion... sightseeing or museum hopping. I am hoping for a dedicated companion to plan and share such things with me. I am a lap swimmer in winter, and a wild swimmer in summer. I can swim for hours. I love yoga. I read periodicals on almost any topic but my favorite is Country Living UK! I read cookbooks cover to cover and often never make a recipe from them. I like the stories. But I do like to cook and I need a muse by my side in the kitchen. I love TV documentaries and biographies, current events, shows on travel, human and world history, and old movies...especially a good romance. I love decorating my bungalow and garden in CT and planting things to see if they survive. I like dogs and cats and am currently quite bonded to a little feline. I still have my dad. I also have two brothers and four nieces. My nieces are smart, beautiful and confident. I am optimistic about their futures as I watch them transitioning into their girl power, accompanied by some delightful guys. 😊
