About her
What sort of person am I? Intelligent, thoughtful, a good listener, reliable, very honest and trustworthy, sometimes extrovert, but not always. I generally keep my cool and try to avoid conflict.
Boring bit... I was brought up in East Anglia and moved to Oxfordshire for my job, which is a still a big part of my life and who I am. But there is much more to life than work and I like to keep busy outside work. I enjoy being in the countryside or by the sea, and taking long walks, preferably with a dog or two for company.
I ski nearly every year and have enjoyed exploring lots of other countries, especially Sri Lanka and India. For me travel is about getting to know the people and their culture - not just lying on a beach, although there should be some time for chilling too. In recent years I have been on walking holidays in Spain, Portugal, Greece and Morocco.
Back at home, I love old houses and gardens and have a flair for house renovation and DIY. I'm quite handy with a power screwdriver!
I love eating good food and drinking great wine. Most importantly I like my food and wine to be accompanied by lively, intelligent, funny conversation.
Of course if the opportunity arises then I will dance the night away with my friends. I'm great at modern jive, terrible at Karaoke.
Keeping fit and healthy is important to me, but I'm not fanatical about any particular sport - except skiing. Taking part and having fun is more important than winning. I am a Park Run regular and do outdoor circuit classes and on-line workouts to fill in the gaps.
I'm willing to try new things and looking forward to new adventures.

I'm looking for an attractive man who is confident and sociable, but relaxed, funny, caring and thoughtful. I hope to find someone who shares my love of food and wine, conversation (and conservation), houses, travel and exploration. I would like to meet someone who is active and keen on keeping in good shape, but not obsessive. Must love dogs and love life, and ideally be a great skier!!
