Horses, dogs and the country are the most important things in my life. I did the whole career thing in London and still enjoy the buzz of the city for a couple of days at a time. But am definitely a country girl at heart - I'm from a long line of Scottish farmers although my parents didn't farm. There's nothing better than having a look around someone else's fields :-)
Asked some friends how they'd describe me and they were embarrassing. :-)) but came up with words like strong, honest, kind, loyal, super-smart, brave, hot (obvs, haha) Clearly I paid them well. . .
I think life is about playing the cards you're dealt with as much panache and humour as is possible in the circs. Love sharing food with friends over a good conversation; watching/reading about science, archaeology, history (usually curled up with my dogs); music from the Russian romantics to Daft Punk; intelligent comedy like Dead Ringers, I'm Sorry (except the singing), and Foil Arms & Hog. Often I'm outside enjoying my garden or the Peak District - frequently trying and failing to get my trainee gundog to behave . . I lost my beautiful horse a few months ago but occasionally help friends to ride & train theirs. Definitely with Churchill when it comes to the outside of a horse.
