Hmm, what to say? Usual stuff, upbeat attitude, keep myself fit, good sense of humour, eternal optimist (sometimes to my detriment). At my happiest in the countryside, not a city dweller - at all, although don't mind visiting for a bit of shopping and a decent comfort coffee. Take long walks whenever I can. Do lots of gardening, grow veg, even though the Welsh weather often has other ideas. Look after the wildlife as much as possible - have left a good portion of my garden/land wild for this purpose. Love music, from classical to rock and playing/writing music is an interest I try and find time for. Prefer the simple life and try to take time appreciate the natural world, Do not like tech - I tolerate it, but can't really escape from it these days! History is my discipline and I enjoy visiting anywhere with some history attached to it. Abbeys, cathedrals, old churches, historic market towns.....etc. Definitely an animal lover, and a house isn't a home without a cat.

Someone of like mind, relatively fit, enjoys walking and the outdoors, likes music, history and animals, is optimistic, cheerful and caring. Someone who doesn't think bad language, heaving drinking and bad manners are acceptable. And definitely not bad tempered.. Must be at home in the countryside, someone who would rather have a garden at the front of their house and not have it paved over so they can park a car on it....and doesn't have an EV! Above all, someone who prefers a more simple life, rather than having to have all the latest 'stuff'. Don't really do overweight and unfit. Not that I'm fussy at all.
